ASPR Hosts Spring Conference In New Orleans

Hundreds of physician recruitment professionals come together for five-day event

The premier annual event for the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR) is set, as the organization will host 2016 spring conference beginning on Saturday, May 14 and finishing on Wednesday, May 18. The event will be held at the New Orleans Marriott in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The theme of the 2016 conference is “Transforming Healthcare in our Communities,” as attendees will learn about the most up-to-date industry tools and trends to help recruit, onboard and retain physicians and advanced-practice providers in communities across the country. The conference will also provide a valuable opportunity to network with colleagues from throughout the United States and Canada. There will be 15 breakout sessions featured at the conference, including information ranging from Advanced Practice Provider Recruitment to Shortage of Physicians: A National Perspective.

The event will be highlighted by two keynote addresses. On Monday, Lt. General Russel Honoré will focus on what 21st Century leaders need to succeed as he discusses his program “The New Normal: Leadership and Preparedness in the 21st Century.” On Tuesday, Seth Mattison, Founder and Chief Movement Officer of FutureSight Labs, will deliver the address “Relationship Revolution – Building Better Connections in the Digital Age” where he will explore five key insights that will equip attendees for building better, stronger and more authentic relationships in the new world of work on the new digital platforms.
