|Fellowship Certification Program Overview|
Becoming Certified as a Fellow of AAPPR (FASPR)
As a certified Fellow of AAPPR (FASPR), you demonstrate to peers, employers, and physicians your commitment to continuing education and excellence in the discipline of physician recruitment. Our program is the most comprehensive, authoritative resource for individuals seeking to develop and test their skills and knowledge within a broad spectrum of topics including physician/provider recruitment, onboarding and retention, human resources, and relevant legal issues.
Whether you are new to in-house physician recruitment or a seasoned veteran, there’s tremendous value in attaining Fellowship certification. We’ll provide an in-depth view of recruiting basics such as sourcing, screening, and interviewing, as well as delve deeply into more advanced topics such as interpreting benchmarking metrics and understanding/implementing medical staff development plans. This cost effective and affordable program provides invaluable first hand information taught by experienced experts and provides you with resources, best practices, and cutting edge training specific to in-house physician recruitment professionals.
The AAPPR Fellowship Program consists of three Modules and exams. When you attend an AAPPR Fellowship Module, you’ll receive the presentation materials as well as an abundance of supporting documents for you to utilize at your organization and to assist you in preparation for the exams. 1 hour of education is equal to 1 hour of credit with AAPPR.
You do not need to take a Module in order to take the associated exam; however it is highly recommended. You also don’t need to take the Modules in sequence, though that is helpful to do so as each Module builds upon the previous one. Once you pass all three exams, you will become certified as a Fellow of AAPPR.*
Each module is $400 for AAPPR Members and $625 for Non-Members who are eligible to take the Fellowship course. You may also bundle and save! Buy all three together and save ($900 for AAPPR Members, $1,600 for eligible Non-Members).
*To take the exams, you must be an AAPPR member in good standing. If you’re not already a member, not a problem. You can join at any time.
The Association is committed to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), and ensuring equal access to our examinations and certification program. We provide appropriate and necessary testing accommodations for candidates with documented disabilities, where the disability impacts the candidate’s ability to take our examinations under the standard terms and conditions of our respective examinations. Please contact us at email@example.com to request an accommodation. All decisions regarding testing accommodations are made on a case-by-case basis. The information and documentation provided to AAPPR must 1) confirm and establish there is a current substantial limitation in a major life activity related to ability to take our examinations, and 2) provide a rationale and an objective basis for why the requested accommodation is necessary.
