Program Overview

With all the media attention being given to immigration issues since January, recruiters might be wondering whether they can still pursue physicians who need visa sponsorship and, if so, how the changes in the law affect that recruitment. The answer is Yes! You can still recruit physicians who need visa sponsorship, but there have been some important changes to immigration laws and policies that could affect that recruitment.

After this webinar, recruiters should have an understanding of how physician recruitment and retention has been affected by recent presidential executive orders, new regulations and policy changes. Recruiters also will be up to date on the latest proposals to reform or change immigration law in the future, including proposed legislation, regulatory changes and pending litigation. Tips will be given about how to spot and prevent rumors from spreading, especially in a time of heightened anxiety for many international physicians in the US.
