CONFERENCE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The 2024 NWSPR/SWPRA Annual Conference is designed for health care professionals who influence the recruitment to retention continuum and are committed to quality health care for their communities. You must meet membership requirements listed below to register as a participant. Vendor organizations must purchase a exhibit booth or sponsorship to participate. They are not eligible to register here.

All registrations are reviewed to ensure they meet the AAPPR eligibility policies and are considered pending until approved and conference eligibility has been met. AAPPR reserves the right to refuse or cancel all ineligible registrations at any time and shall not be held accountable for any outside fees associated with any cancellation. All Annual Conference registrations will be pending until conference eligibility has been approved.

The NWSPR/SWPRA Annual Conference is open to those who meet the following criteria:

• Individuals who are engaged in the recruitment, onboarding, and/or retention of physicians and other health care providers and who are employed to do so by a hospital, hospital organization, clinic, medical group, health maintenance organization, academic medical center, or state or federal governmental agency.
• Independent contractors and self-employed recruiters who are contracted directly to recruit for a single health care organization that employs physicians.
• Recruiters whose organization directly employs physicians and are contracted to staff other health care organizations with specific specialties (e.g. Emergency Medicine or Hospitalist).
• Individuals who do not actively recruit, but are directly involved in the recruitment, onboarding, and/or retention process, have supervisory responsibilities for in-house physician recruiters or are actively engaged in physician education through residency or fellowship programs (such as health care executives, residency directors and coordinators). 

AAPPR reserves the right to deny registration to those who do not meet the eligibility criteria.

Attendance at the conference offers 5.75 continuing educational credits.  AAPPR is recognized by SHRM to offer PDCs for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. In addition, these credits apply toward CPRP certification renewal.  The HR Certification Institute allows professional development education that aligns with the applicable exam content to be used towards recertification of HRCI’s credentials. After registering you will receive a confirmation email with your invoice and hotel reservation instructions.

Run of House Room: $109-149 per night/per room.  The hotel room rates are subject to the prevailing city/state taxes and assessment charges at the time of check-in; currently this tax rate is 18%.

Reservations must be reserved before 5:00 pm on Friday, October 4th, 2024 to secure the room block rate.

All cancellation requests must be emailed to Lauren Ellis at lauren@aappr.org.

If cancellation is received by October 14, 2024, the registrant may receive a refund minus a $30 administrative fee. Any cancellations after October 14, 2024 will not receive a refund.

Refunds will be processed within 30 days following conference.
