Physician wellness is a key strategy to recruiting and retaining top clinical talent.  Additionally, physician wellness has a ripple effect on the culture and efficacy of the care team.  In this session, we will discuss the challenges facing organizations regarding physician well-being and how Mercy has chosen to meet this challenge.

Speaker Bio

Dr. Raymond Weick

Dr. Raymond Weick is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine and served as Chief Resident-Family                 Medicine at the same facility.  Dr. Weick is in his 15th year practicing family medicine in the St. Louis area with Mercy.  In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he serves as Department Chairman-Primary Care for Mercy Clinic South in the St. Louis region and Chief Medical Officer for Healthy Capital.  Dr. Weick has been recognized by Mercy with their Charism Award and was presented the "Tomorrow's Leader" award by the Catholic Healthcare Association in 2015.  Ray is married and a proud father of five children.  In addition to spending time with family, Dr. Weick enjoys baseball and running.
